Mathematically Correct
With its openNURBS kernel, Rhino lets you work with true mathematically described precision curves. Drag them around to get exactly the shap you want!
Free-Form
Uninhibited free-form: model any shape you can imagine.
Exchangeable
ompatibility with many 3D-packages like SharkCAD Pro, SketchUp Pro, KeyShot and even Artlantis.
Functions
Rhino is equipped with the following functionalities to offer you versatile, free-form 3D modeling.

Rhinoceros History
SubD
For designers who need to explore organic shapes quickly, SubD is a new geometry type that can create editable, highly accurate shapes. Unlike other geometry types, SubD combines free-form accuracy while still allowing quick editing.
QuadRemesh
Quickly create a quad mesh from existing surfaces, solids, meshes, or SubDs—ideal for rendering, animation, CFD, FEA, and reverse-engineering.
Presentation Tools
Rhino 7 comes with improved presentation tools, streamlining the workflow with a major update to the Rhino Render engine, so the same look you get in your Raytraced viewport can be rendered without any changes. Support for PBR materials and a LayerBook command has been added.
Rhino 7 Refined
In Rhino 7, hundreds of bugs have been fixed, but they’ve also added workflow improvements like Named Selections, Mold Making tools, a Single-Line font for engraving, and improved interoperation with third-party file formats…
Display
Rhino’s display pipeline has been refined to keep up with modern graphics hardware. In Rhino 7, some models will display significantly faster on both Windows and Mac. They’ve also made several refinements to the Display Modes to make them even more eye-popping while you work…
Documentation
Modeling is just one part of the design process; you also need to show how to build what is on the screen. They’ve improved many parts of the documentation workflow while also focusing on the more graphically-rich illustration tools like transparency and gradient hatches…
Grasshopper
Grasshopper seems to be everywhere lately. As usual, the developer is having a hard time keeping up (you might even see that familiar canvas in other applications). In Rhino 7, some new components have been added, but they’ve also made it easier to turn your programs into plugins
Rhino.Inside.Revit
Rhino.Inside.Revit brings the power of Rhino and Grasshopper to the Autodesk Revit® environment. It provides a set of tools for bridging the gap between Rhino’s free-form modeling and the world of BIM, opening Grasshopper’s rich ecosystem to the Revit environment, enabling completely new design workflows and possibilities.
Development Platform
Rhino 7 brings major improvements to the free SDKs, with API refinements, better documentation, and some major new features that broaden and deepen the foundations of the geometry development platform…
And more…
Please check the official Rhino 7 Help Docs for all new features.

RHINO ADD-ONS
Get more out of Rhinoceros 3D with these add-ons.

Bongo
With Bongo you can animate moving, scaling and rotating Rhino objects. And it runs inside Rhino, so you won't have to export the files. Objects and animations are simply editable in the Rhino window, just by dragging and dropping. You can preview your animations easily in real time inside Rhino. You can watch any shading mode by scrubbing the timeline or playing the animation.
