Enscape™ 3.4 - Now also on macOS!

Check out the latest Enscape™, version 3.4! Enscape™ 3.4 has got some fantastic improvements, like macOS support for SketchUp, library categories, interior assets, save sun positions and more!

Enscape available on macOS!

Enscape for Mac is now available for SketchUp 2021 and 2022 on macOS Monterey 12.2.1 or higher. It currently includes the following features found in the Windows version:

• Real-time visualization – visualize models in real time in the Enscape rendering window.
• Real-time walkthrough – navigate rendered projects with the walk, fly, and perspective modes.
• Export options – export and share design ideas with still renders, 360-degree panoramas, and web standalone options.
• Visual Settings – use a range of atmosphere, image, capture, and rendering settings to create the perfect look.
• Material Editor – use height maps and adjust textures to increase the level of realism.
• Synchronized views – have the Enscape rendering window show the same view as the project.
• Enscape Asset Library – choose from more than 3,000 high-quality, low-poly 3D models to add to a project.
• Manage views – create saved views to easily refer back to a project and seamlessly present it from the best angles.
• Batch rendering – render views in batches to save time in rendering them individually.
• Panorama Tour – create a navigation mode within the Panorama Gallery to easily share designs.
• Language support – Enscape for Mac is available in English, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, and Polish.

Features like Virtual Reality, video and standalone export, objects as light and sound sources and custom library will be added later.

Other Improvements

• Categories for the Custom Asset Library – The Categories for the Custom Asset Library allow you to organize and structure your (imported) custom assets. The categories let you filter for assets so you can find the one you want within a few clicks, giving you a faster workflow. With every category you create, you can give it a name and an icon.
• Interior Design Assets and Materials – The asset and material theme for this release is interior design with 210 new assets and 52 new materials.
• Save Enscape Sun Position in Views – This feature lets you save your sun position in views. Prior to this, the sun positions you adjusted (only with keyboard shortcuts) would reset whenever you restarted Enscape. Slider controls and input fields are provided so you can easily reproduce specific sun positions for other views.
• Update Views – You can now edit the camera position and sun position for existing saved views. Prior to this, you were only able to change the name and visual preset for existing views.
• Improved Reflections – The reflections in windows or interior mirrors will be more complex and show more details by default with the new version. Users don’t have to do anything extra as this automatically updates with Enscape 3.4.
