Flamingo discontinued
Developer McNeel has announced that the render application Flamingo is no longer available for sale and evaluation. The new built-in rendering engine from Rhino 7 already offers great results and therefore has several advantages over Flamingo nXt:
- Included as standard;
- PBR (physically based render) materials;
- Denoisers for fast results;
- Advanced lighting;
- Realtime rendering in the viewport.
For active users licensed with Flamingo nXt 5 and Rhino 5 or 6, the download will remain available on the developer's website.
