03 - Where can I find diagnostic info?

If Artlantis crashes, what information do I need send to support?

Artlantis creates diagnostic files containing information for technical engineers. Send your diagnostic file at the same time you create your ticket! Diagnostic files can be found: ...

On Windows platform:
1.: c:\Documents and Settings\User_Name\Application Data\Abvent_Artlantis3 or 4
ArtlantisStudioLog.txt or ArtlantisRenderLog.txt

On Windows 7:
C:\\Users\\User_name\\AppData\\Roaming\\Abvent_Artlantis3 or 4
We need a fresh logfile; please send it right after you experience the problem.
(Important note: you must turn on the visibility of hidden files and folders to see the Application Data folder.)

2.:DirectX diagnostic file exported to e.g. txt.
To create, go to Start Menu---->Run--->type: dxdiag and hit Enter.
A diagnostic panel will appear, then save all data.

On MAC platform:
1. Go to--->: Apple menu, About This Mac, click on More Info button, then menu File > Save as...xml.
2. Also, we need "ArtlantisLog.txt" or "ArtlantisRenderLog.txt" and "BatchRendererLog.txt" files located in: username/Library/Application Support/Artlantis3/ (or 4)
