Layers
A new feature of Artlantis are Layers, which makes it easier to manage and handle the geometry of your 3D scenes.
- Layer Management
Artlantis 3 has a new structure of layers: scene, objects, 3D plants, lamps, animated objects and billboards. You can also add and remove your own layers.
- Visibility by View
Hide the layers that might burden your work in preview, so yuo will have greater ease of use and an increased productivity. This new functions also allows you to present your model in different sorts of layout!

Lights
- Improved Lights inspector
Artlantis 3 offers offers 9 different types of lighting accessible by a drop-down menu. These lighting options can be completely customized by changing the intensity, color, angle and softness of shadows.
- Neon Shader
The neon shader has been greatly improved both in terms of quality and rendering speed.

- Special effects
The new transparency slider allows you to set the transparency of billboards and 3D plants in order to better view the project.
- Detachable Components
Detach elements of your 3D model and handle them as external objects.
- Editable Anchor Points
It allows you to place and rotate an object in the 3D scene, by simply grabbing the point and dragging it to the desired location.
Communication
Artlantis 3 is compatible with the Autodesk 2010 product line and benefits from a new technology of export plug-ins. This new feature, which is available in the SKP, OBJ, FBX, U3D and DWF formats, integrates Artlantis in the complete design process.
