Google SketchUp Pro 7 contains the following new features:

• Dynamic components: create components with parametric behaviors, like a stair which automatically adds more steps when resized, or a cabinet whose doors can open and close!
• Assign your own attributes to components and generate tabular reports from your SketchUp models!
• 2D Edges: two lines crossing in a single plane will break into four segments at their point of intersection.
• 3D Warehouse-Enabled components browser: this browser allows you find and download models and collections right inside Google SketchUp Pro.
• LayOut 2.0: provides simple tools to place, arrange, title and annotate SketchUp models to assemble presentation and documentation graphics for both print and screen. • StyleBuilder 1.0: create your own personal drawing style for Google SketchUp. Not as a download like before, but as an official feature of Google SketchUp Pro.

Some already existing features have been reviewed to create a better usability:

• Photo Matching: making selected images unique and allowing it to be individually edited.
• Value Control Box: it has been renamed to the "Measurements Toolbar", and now allows you to change the location of it to make it more visable and to add status buttons
• User Interface: improved visibility of inference icons, especially for color-blind users.
• GEO-referencing workflow: cleaned up internal presentation of geo-location and improved user interface for managing geolocation in the model
